Supported squat

Opens the hips, prepares for birth

How to do it

  1. Stand facing something stable — a chair back or a windowsill — and hold on.
  2. Feet a little wider than your hips, toes turned slightly out.
  3. Lower as far as is comfortable, knees tracking towards your toes.
  4. Keep your back straight and your heels down if you can. Rise as you breathe out.
